Week 6-Roles of Universities and Sustainable Developement(14 Nov 2024)

Assalamualaikum, I'm Fakrullah Bin Zakaria from the Arabic Department would like to share my study journey of SCSH 1201.

                                                                                                                                                                       

   

Introduction

For this class, we discuss about  the role of universities in developing sustainable aspects and values. This topic is familiar and enjoyable to us because the discussion focused on the universities that we joined  to improve our understanding and knowledge.

Personal Reflection

The most important thing that attracts my mind is the(National Education Philosophy) as  our guide to make our education not just university level but for all levels become a mercy and identity for our sustainable development. After we discussed about this topic. We just related it with our education philosophy for the example that philosophy priorate the quality education in Malaysia which is covers all aspects of students which is physical, mental and ethics.

Application of Learning

The improvement that can I make it reality is to increased my contribution of all aspects that related to sustainable values such as research which means the  high quality of my group project of this subject required. Other than, for the whole my study journey at this university, the high quality research must be a prioritizes for myself rather than finished the all assignment without the quality.

Additional Self-Improvement

I need to apply all sustainable values or (Sustainable Development Goals) in my studies not just for this subject but for all subject that I take it .After then, I need to understand deeply how can I become a valuable person of the university system that related to sustainability such as by join the programs and talks that will be increased my understanding and awareness about recent issues.

Conclusion

To sum up, university is a center for those who want to learned the application and process of (Sustainable Development Goals) because the contains of those goals are prepared enough by the university such as the quality of education that exists in university.
